OCC Young Player of the Year

Congratulations to Chris Preen who has been awarded the OCC 'Young Player of the Year' award by Club Captain Mark Lane and 2nd XI skipper John Hall.

Chris played for 'The Soops' a number of times over the summer, and made significant contributions with bat and ball.  His fielding was likewise of the highest order, taking some excellent catches including a stunner against Cudham Wyse.

Chris, along with a number of other youngsters are proving the worth of the academy as they make the transition from junior to senior cricket.

Here's to 2017 when we will continue helping youngsters  to make the change to senior cricket
